Would you refer to the following Tuesday (6 days from today) as Next Tuesday or This Tuesday
"next Tuesday" would work just fine. Or "this coming Tuesday" or "next week, Tuesday".
Would the correct sentence be (On a Wed)
I washed my car this Monday, however, I have to take it again for a wax job next Tuesday
or
I washed my car last Monday, however, I have to take it again for a wax job this Tuesday.
Both are correct but I guess it's possible that both could be misunderstood. For speech, it's not much of a problem as a listener can ask for clarification.
Again, if it were/is crucial,
I washed my car on Monday last/the day before yesterday, however, I have to take it again for a wax job this coming Tuesday/next week, Tuesday/on Tuesday of next week/next Tuesday.
