can someone help me? the topic i'm reading from an english book is about writing business letter...it says there, we have to use "YOU approach" so as not to offend the reader. What does it mean?

The "You approach" means that your sentences use the words you and your as often as possible and avoid using I, me, we, our as much as possible.
For example, instead of saying "I'd like to describe the advantages of our products." you might say "If you are like most successful executives, you value products that support you in..."
