| What is your opinion on the following sentence? I was going to go... Is it commonly used in BrE or AmE? Can it be replaced by some other sentences with a similar meaning? As far as I am concerned I always tend to avoid this repetition of the verb "go" because it seems odd and inappropriate to me. Thank you very much in advance Teia |
