Default usage of much and many

Is there a difference in the usage of the words "much" and "many"? If so, how do you know when to use either of the two?

Use many to talk about things that can be counted. Example:
  • He asks too many questions.

Use much to talk about things that cannot be counted. Example:
  • He talks too much.

What do you think?
