When I talk about my marriage, I am always confused.
My question is... Can I say without "to someone" or " Someone and" , like.
- I have been married to "A" for 3 years
- My wife "A" and I have been married for 3 years.
It sounds strange to a native speaker? or It's wrong gramatically?
- I have been married for 3 years.
Need your help.
I think it's perfectly correct in terms of grammar. It's just that this doesn't tell people who you are married to.
"I've been married for three years" is perfectly acceptable grammatically and sounds just fine to a native speaker. :-D
