What is the difference between the two sentences:
I'll do that the next week.
I'll do that next week.

I might say 'I'll do that the week after next' though. ;)

That's different and works. I wouldn't use 'the' with next\last unless there were something alse there.

when we use at or in. For example :
At school
In school

I'd use 'at school' to describe location and 'in school'when talking about the eductaion processes,
