Do English or American people say "I'm finish"?
It seems very strange to me because finish is a verb and I think after am, we should change the verb form into participle or something.

Should I rather say "I'm finished" or is either of them fine

I've never heard "I'm finish" said by a native speaker - it should always be "I'm finished".
