Default How to use "the"

(1)The four major parts of speech are the noun, verb, adjective and adverb.

Is above sentence OK? Or should we rewrite the sentence as follows?

(2)The four major parts of speech are the noun, the verb, the adjective and the adverb.
(3)The four major parts of speech are noun, verb, adjective and adverb.

All three are possible; I'd choose (4) The seven major parts of speech are nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions and interjections.

Yeah, I think number three is the correct sentence. The 'the' word should not be included.
