Who is a "Seeded Player".

The better players or teams in a tournament are 'seeded' throughout the draw - that is, placed at particular positions (like seeds in a field) so that they don't play each other until later in the tournament.

For example, the 'top four seeds' are the four best players. If there are 16 players in the tournament, the first seed will be at position 1 in the draw, the second seed at position 16, the third seed at position 9, and the fourth seed at position 8.
