Correct My sentence

My son has a habit of telling me before he is going to the toilet

He says " I want to make no.1 or 2" I am confused, whether to correct him to say I want to do or I want to Pass,

I'm not familiar with "do" and "pass" - I'm North American and #1 and #2 are commonly used terms. There's also, "I gotta go (#1 or #2), Mum!" And, "I gotta pee, I gotta poop, Mum!
