 Age group problems I need some help from a seasoned ESL teacher please. . . I've been asked this question in an application form: . . What should you take into consideration when teaching English as a foreign language to these age groups? . 3 to 6 . 7 to 10 . 11 to 16 . 17+ . . Thanks for any ideas . Jag |

| Re: Age group problems Ages 3-6 Language Acquisition - these are the formative years in language acquistion - a child's cognitive maturity and his or her relationship with adults and children will be of importance. Physical development and lingual development; the development of the voice should be noted. 11-16 - slang terms, English idioms that don't perfectly translate in the other language. |
