    Smile help to???

I am not sure if the following sentnece is right.

our mission is to help companies to access/ or access critical business information quickly and inexpensively.

which one is right? accoridng to my grammar book after help to infinitive form should always be followed,(ex: I helped him solve the problem, not i helped him to solve the problem) which i disagree. what do you think?

You may use either one ("helped companies to access" or "helped companies access").
