snowboarding jargon

in snowboarding what are:
a stock trick (i think it's a regular feasible trick).
and a feature in that context:
"Instead of like, trying to do the gnarliest trick on a normal feature, try and do more of a stock trick on a gnarly feature"
i guess a "feature" is just a crevasse, a pipe or another stretch of land you can make a trick on but i want to be sure.

In ordinary English, 'stock' means ordinary or unexceptional, which would seem to apply here.
