Echo question
Given the two dialogues below.
1)
A: So, what field are you in?
B: I'm a management consult and advise people who have been thinking about setting up their own business.
A: Oh, you do?
2)
A: So, what field are you in?
B: I'm a management consult and advise people who have been thinking about setting up their own business.
A: Do you?
What types of question do we have in both dialogues? Can we say they're both tag questions?
Thanks a lot.

Re: Echo question
Are either tag questions?

Re: Echo question
1. I think the dialogue will may be:
A: So, what field are you doing ?
B: I'm working in management's field. I consult and advise people who have thought about setting up their own business.
A: Oh, it's cool.
In last sentence, you can say:"Really ? Oh, It's great" or "Really ? Oh, It's cool" - But I think it's not the best choice in this context.
2. The tag question:
In your dialogue, the questions "Do you ?" and "Oh, you do ?" - are not tag questions. If you say: "You have a good job, don't you ?", it will be a tag question.
