Hi,

I've read the following in a recent London newspaper:
"Old school: going out on a shopping spree can now been done from the sofa"
The article was about the rise in internet shopping. Is the above sentence grammatically correct? I'd have used "can now be done" and to me "can now been done" seems incorrect? Is this some sophisticated form trying to express something you can arrange and get to a completed phase that's why the use this?

No, it's just a typo . Nobody would ever say or write 'now been done...'.
