231-providing/provided
Hello all
I need the difference between (providing) and (provided) as adverbs. I looked at the dictionary but I didn't find s.th satisfying. Please explain me their use and make some examples, if possible.
Thank you all

Re: 231-providing/provided
Both are used as a conjunction meaning "one the condition that; if; as long as." I prefer "provided that": St Luke's requested the tax exemption based on parts of state law that allow tax exemptions for property, provided that the company doesn't profit by it.
