Default present perfect progressive

Hello,

I have a problem Present perfect progressive focuses on the continuous activity, but can also be used when talking about situations which are just coming to an end or may change.
When I say:
Our business relations have been developing since 2001. - it is a focus on continuous activity, but are people not going to think that the business relations are coming to an end?

Thank you very much.

Hanka

Frankly, no. The sentence has no such implication.
