    Question Help! please

What is the coomon misuse of ''open''among Cantonese speakers?

    a. In HK and other western countries there are many pollution problems.
    b. I like Chinese food, and not the food of other foreign countries.
    c. In Japan and other Asian countries, a lot of rice is eaten.
which one correct ? explain why ? (i think a. is correct , is that right?)

Explain how to use 'point of view'.
From my point of view as a woman, the film is offensive. Is this correct?

    a. My arm feels painful.
    b. Falling off your bicycle is painful.
    c. She felt painful.
i think b is correct ,but i don't know why. please explain why .

a implies HK is a western country
b is right only if you mean China is a foreign country
    c is right

something that causes pain is painful, not the person who feels pain
    so a & b right, c wrong

    <...My arm feels painful...>

More usually, in standard English: "My arm is painful".

    (a) HK is Chinese, not western. And as for polluting countries...
    (b) China is obviously a foreign country in this context because it says "other..."; but it should be "but" rather than "and".
    (c) is the only one that can be correct, in which case (a) is further incorrect because it contains a missing comma after "countries"...
