Default Is "revenue" in capitals?

When you use the term "revenue" in the sentence - "I must pay off the revenue", would you write it in capitals?

I know Inland Revenue is in capitals, but am not sure about revenue on its own.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks.

Default Re: Is "revenue" in capitals?

As far as I've ever seen, the only time you would capitalize revenue (other than the obvious usage of proper nouns, i.e., Internal Revenue Service), would be in the instance that the word is defined in a document.

Example: The plaintiffs, Revenue Capital ("Revenue") agree as follows: etc., etc.
