Default from or of continued

If "from" is movement, and "of" is location, what would you say,
"it's made of wood" or
"it's made from wood"

"It's made of wood from the oak tree" or
It's made from wood of the oak tree"

The movement and location idea doesn't seem to quite fit here!!

The chair is made of wood.
Paper is made from wood.

"It's made of wood from the oak tree" or
It's made from wood of the oak tree"
Here,I'd cheat and say it It's made of oak, but I would say of wood from and oak tree. The movement works as it the substance is recognisable but there has been a transformation of the tree.
