regard?

I wonder if adjective can be followed after as as a complement. for example,

I regard her as dishonest.( or I regard her as being dishonest? which one sounds better? or do you have any other suggestion??)
I know her as dishonest
I characterize her as dishonest.

To me.... "I regard her as being dishonest" sounds better.

Also instead of saying...

I know her as dishonest
I characterize her as dishonest.

I would be more inclined to say...

I know her to be dishonest.
I would characterize her as being dishonest.
