Default Practicing Everyday language

The English that I have learned has been through my past ESL classes and through my extensive reading. I learned enough to read and write well, but this presents a problem when speaking to people because I focused so much on that and not on practicing my conversation. I do not work and I am not attending school right now. Everyone at my home speaks Spanish, so there is not way at all to practice my conversation and much less to listening English. How can learn the everyday language? I have tried to this by watching TV, but I find that most programs in English are not from a common English language.

You'll find that here on the forum, people use everyday language most of the time and that the style of writing is fairly close to spoken language, so you can practise here.
