 confused words I am a newbie. I have a question and would like to have your advice. I often hear people say " people in(on) the street " . What are the differences in their usage ? thanks in advance. |

| Re: confused words If they actually mean their location, then there is no real difference. 'People in the street' can be used to talk about the general public, when trying to assess their mood or opinions about something. |
