Prepositions??..

Hello there..
Could anybody help me with prepositions. whenever i speak english publicly preposition are the single most important impediment. how can i improve on it...? probably listening to the native speakers.. or English songs.. which way?

It's a huge area and takes time to master. I would recommend reading as widely as possible.

Rote learning is real hard thing... i am a teacher and am rarely able to recall what i had learned in front of students..
i will try it once more..

I'm not a great fan of rote learning- it seems like a huge effort for little reward with me- different strokes for different folk.

Hi tdol,
And who is? Reading is good, but just how much should I read to get all those prepositions firmly stuck in my head?
I just record phrases with them and peel potatoes or do some other chores with headphones on, this seems to be the shortest way.
