Hi evrybody
I'd like to know the difference in meaning between I always...... / Always I ...
Thank you.![]()
Use 'I always'
Yes, thank you. but I really need to know the difference between them if there is any.
What I think Tdol meant is that "I always ..." is the normal neutral way of expressing such a thought. There is a great deal of flexibility when it comes to adverb placement. When you reverse this order, it "sound" like this;
"ALWAYS I ..." and COULD be used to place great emphasis on 'always'.
It's hard to decide without more context but I'd say that this isn't all that common. More common is "As always, I ...", but it's not an impossible collocation.
.
I'd be tempted to invert the verb were I to use "always" at the beginning of a sentence --- just like we would with the word "never".![]()

Of course it's not, Riverkid. My comment was simply a comment and was also focused on the "comma-less" question about "Always I" as opposed to "I always".![]()
My mistake. I should have noted that it would work with or without a comma.
A: I always like sushi.
B: No, she doesn't. She's pulling your leg. Sometimes she does but oftentimes she doesn't.
A: ALWAYS I like sushi.
A: *ALWAYS, like I sushi. *
Thanks for help, I appreciate it.![]()
