I am not sure about the tense after ..seem like or seem as if. for example,

It seems like it will rain this afternoon.
It seems as if it will rain this afternoon.

He seems as if he is shocked.( or as if he was shocked ???)

Traditionally, like is a preposition. Your sentences call for the conjunction, as if/though.
