life or death situation?

Hi! If you find any grmmatical mistakes, could you please fix them for me?

1. My department has been working on serious damage( or problmes) to products we exported.

2. It is a life or death situation for our company to deal with.

3. Hopefully you will understand the whole unexpected situation we are in.
