    Default adjectives

    hello teachers!

I want to write a sentence like "She is a nice, intelligent and helpful co-worker"

is there anything wrong with the adjectives "intelligent" since I think it must be preceded by the article "an" (but "nice" and "helpful" are preceded by "a")

    thanks in advance!

I don't see any wrong in that sentence. And also add this will make the sentence more alive I hope:"....and a helpful co-worker."

It's correct. Whether to use "a" or "an" depends on the following word and nothing else.
