Default academic literacy

Hi im interested in academic literacy for nonnative universities i want to ask the following question:
what is the best way to acquire the basic academic skills especially in postgraduate programs? and what is the impact of computer literacy as a part of academic needs?

Computer literacy is a basic requirement for academic study nowadays. Most courses demand that work is word processed and students are expected to use email, etc, so lacking IT literacy would be an obstacle.

There are many sites to help with acadmeic language, though there is a lot to learn to be able to function well in a non-native language.
