    Is the sentence below correct?

    - I purchased my computer from IBM.

    Is "from" here correct?

    You could say that, or you could say 'I bought an IBM computer' as they are (or were) a make.

    Why do you use "could" again and not "can"?, what is this meaning of "could"? And what means "a make"?
