Default Thanks, pls help to analysis the sentence

The Kerala High Court has now found in favour of the two companies, ruling that only the central government has the power to ban food products.

Hi, I can not well understand this sentence, could you help to analysis the sentence, especially the word "found in favour of", thanks

the court has now found in favour of the two companies = the court has now decided that the companies are right. The companies won the court case, and the court decided that only the central government can ban food products.
