    What is the proper way to say this.

    I haven't eaten

    or I haven't ate

    I would say 'I haven't eaten.' ;)

    I agree with Shane, though you do hear the other form in some British dialects. However,most would regard it as incorrect.

    You hear things like that and 'I was sat down reading' in BE dialects.
