Default comparision form?

i wonder if the following forms are acceptable . If not, please explain for me. Thanks in advance.

1. He has twice( or double) more money than I have.

2. He is three times smater than his brother.

3. They had twice more amount of money than their friends.

4. They had doulbe more amount of new brian cells than their counterparts.

1 I'd say 'twice as much'.
2 Fine
3/4 No this twice/double more amount doesn't work- you can have twice/double the amount.
