Can I use 'to find' with adverb 'down' ?

Of course there may be sentences in which you use the verb find with down. It all depends on what you want to say. But "find down" is not a specific phrasal verb. So, without a sentence to go along with it, "find down" has no specific meaning for me.

I wonder find down here means find out. Is that right?

One thing that comes to mind, however, is the phrasal verb "track down" which means 'to follow or look for until found'. In other words, the meaning of "track down" is similar to the meaning of the verb "find".

I think "find out" is probably not the intended meaning.
