| I need a help, please. 1.) Are there another way to say the following question in the past tense?: "What's happened?". I know I can say 'What's going on?' to present tenses but could I say 'What's went on or what's gone on?'? 2.) When I know there is a person who is currently ill can I ask to her "How about your health?" to know if she is getting better or "how about" is used just to make suggestion? Thanks for attention! | Hello Falcon 1. Yes, you can simply say "What happened?" 2. You're right: "how about" introduces a suggestion. However, there is a very similar phrase, for the purpose you require. Did you want to try again? All the best, MrP |

| Wow! Thanks for so quick response! If "how/what about" is used to make suggestion or offering something, I really don't know what do I have to use to say this question correctly... Can I say "how is going your health?" or "how does your health is going on?" or neither? thanks! Falcon |

| Hello Falcon I would probably say either "How are you feeling now?" or "Are you feeling any better?" Other members may have other suggestions, though! All the best, MrP |
