Smile Are there sentences right?

In the Catalan culture is very important the food, the language and the dances

I like Spanish weather because it changes throughout/through the year / because it cahges depending on the season

At weekends, I go...
At the weekends, I go...

The small villages in my country are beautiful because of their charm / for their charm

The Louvre is my favourite museum in/of France

In Barcelona, there are a lot of beautiful places to discover

Thanks

In 1), I feel the definite articles don't quite sound right? What about just "Food, language, and dance are very important in Catalan culture."?

In 3), 'at weekends' is fine in BrE.

It would work without the articles, but I like it better with them. It emphasizes that it is specific food, language and dance that are important.

Thanks for "at weekends". I thought it was correct in BE, but I wasn't sure about the plural use.
