I Wonder If You American Native Speakers Have An Unformal Way To Mean "difficult" . I Mean You Have The Informal Way To Mean "easy" By Saying ....piece Of Cake , No Sweat ,,,,,i Need An Equivalent For ....difficult ! Do You Have It ?

Two possibilities that come to mind right away are:

You could say "it was murder" to mean "it was very difficult".
.
There is also the idiom "like pulling teeth" which means very difficult.

Also 'like getting blood from a stone' - but maybe that's another Britishism.

That was NOT easy. For me it depends on the task, such as time related, muscle power related, or mind related task, etc.

This one is a mind one, its driving me crazy, I'm drawing blanks, my mind is empty. Yesterday I climbed the mountain, it killed me, my legs went limp, I couldn't handle it. I had two hours to get back but...I ran out of time, (it was) too much for me, etc. There are tons of ways to express negativity but they could be task specific idioms.
