Default "am I right or am I right?"

Hi,

When a person says "am I right, or am I right?"
does it mean that he is saying that he is right?
(There are two choices, and both of them
lead to he is right.)

Also, is it a rhetorical question?

Thanks

Yes -- to both of your questions.

(I wish all questions on the English language were as easy to answer as this one.)

Thank you rewboss.

(But where is the fun in answering only easy questions? )
