Take In A Movie
a. Hey! Why don’t we take in a movie together this weekend?
- “take in a movie together” means “go to the movies together”, right?
b. I really don’t understand much about “puppy love”. Does it often begin from the age of 12 to 15?
Thanks a lot
Re: Take In A Movie
Yes, "take in a movie" means to go see a movie.
Puppy love is a crush or infatuation, usually by kids up to age 12 or 13. Usually by age 15 kids fall into more serious relationships than "puppy love." Puppy love is when you leave notes in each other's lockers at school, punch each other in the arm and run away, and hang around together even though your friends tease you. ;-)
