Default production slip

Hi,

could you please tell me whether "production slip" is the right expression for a document accompanying individual production batches and containing information on the production?

Thank you very much.

It could be. Sometimes companies have their own terms for such things. When I worked in the steel business, we called such a document a "production report."

I have no experience to match Ouisch's, but I'd expect a 'slip' to refer to a rather small bit of paper - for example, when you buy things new they often have an inspection slip (a tiny chit of paper, sometimes with just a number or an initial on it). A packing slip, on the other hand, can be quite detailed; it gives a detailed list of the contents of a package. I've never heard of a production slip, but I agree with Ouisch that it's a possible collocation.
