also, what do you think of the following sentnece? Can I start a sentence like we request... when we aks something?
We request that you contact us at the soonest available time.

Helping hands,
Your usage of We request is fine; 'soonest available time' sounds a bit odd, but it's not incorrect - I'd just expect something like 'soonest possible opportunity'.

In AE, we would commonly say "contact us at your earliest convenience."
