    Talking 233-as soon as/once

    Hello all

Can anybody explain me the exact difference between (as soon as) and (once) as ((adverb time connectors))?
I need some examples and differences in meaning and use.

    Regards

    Matilda

    Hi Matilda
    .
In my opinion, as soon as has a somewhat stronger sense of "immediately after."
    .
I'm going to cook dinner as soon as I get home. (immediately after I get home.)
    .
I'm going to cook dinner once I get home. (not long after I get home, but not necessarily immediately)
