For added friendliness, we can, of course, shorten it to the diminutive 'septic/s'.

MikeNY once suggested that 'perfect twit' would be a good Cockney rhyme for 'Brit', but then the joke would start 'Two septics and a perfect went into a pub...'. I'm happy with his suggestion.

In AmE, we call a "waste drainage pipe" a "sewer pipe," and it empties into a sewer. The content of the sewer is "sewage."
