Soft duck down pillows on the bed. DUCK has no S no apostrophe.If you say "There was plenty of bird's down in the nest" (not knowing whether the down came from the body of more than one bird) should you put the apostrophe before or after the s, please? - Or might it be BIRD DOWN?
Should it have a hyphen, to make it clear? (Ha! "You must duck down! we're using duck down pillows on the bed!")

I would use "birds' down" or "bird down".
