    I get confused when using article before noun denoting a title or office. Please help me as soon as possoble. I have to finish my gradiation thesis this week. Thank you very much!
    1. They make him.... King.
    2. Mr. A is ....professor of English

    If you are talking about a job or a position, use an article.
    If you are talking about a specific title, don't us an article.

    He was made a professor in 1998.
    He was named Professor of English in 1998.

    He knew the council would make him the new king.
    The council proclaimed him King.
