Question How can I discribe this situation?

I have a question about the following situation.

"I got all questions right but missed one question on the exam."

But I don't think sounds natural. Is it OK to say "I got all but one of the questions."

I would appreciate it if you could correct this sentence.

What do you think about "I get all questions except for one"

    Hi Dany

Your sentence is quite good. But you say: "except of one".

I thought that too, but after looking in "Leo" I changed my mind

    LEO Ergebnisse für "except"

One can't get all of the questions right if one missed one.

"I got all but one of the questions right" is correct.
"I got all of the questions right except one" is also correct.

That may be OK in BrE (I don't know), but it is not correct in AmE.
