Default Need advise on the correct way of answering a Q again, thx!

If a question ask:

Would you like to be as clever as Leonardo da Vinci? Why or Why not?

The answer to the first Q would be:

Yes, I would. / No, I would not.

The answer to the 2nd Q would be:

This (is or was???) because I (will or would???) know everything without trying.

Should I answer the 2nd question in present tense or past tense?
Thanks very very much for helping again, teachers! :"(

This is because I would..... is the sequence of tenses I'd use.

A great many thanks for helping again, teacher Tdol! ^o^

That means the answers below are also correct if I write:

1. This is because if I were as clever as Leonardo, my parents would be very happy.

2. This is because if someone did not understand sth, I could help him or them.

3. Yes, I would. This is because I can get to know the names of all flowers and insects.

4. THis is because if I could be as clever as Leonardo, I would be famous.

5. Yes, I would. This is because Leonardo could do anything he want and he had the ability to be an artist, a doctor, etc.

TTTTHHHHHHAAAAANNNNNKKKKKKSSSS for helping again and again! T_T

I'd change 3 to 'could'.

By the way, the word in your title should be 'advice', not 'advise'. :)

I need advice, can you help me?

I hope my colleagues can advise me on what to do next.

Thanks for correcting the mistake, teacher Shane!
The word used in the title should be in the form of a "Noun", right? Thanks again! ^o^

Try:
  • That is because if I were as clever as Leonardo I would be famous.

Thanks for the options, teacher Ronbee! Could you give me some advise on the following answers too?

Referring to the above Q again,

Yes, I would like to be as clever as Leonardo because....

1. ...I ( could or can????) get good results in my tests and exams.

2. ...if you ( are or were????), people ( will or would???) like you more.

Please help this confused dumb dumb Help Wanted! :"(
