in my opinion , if you say( ...ways.), the sentense will be better.because you have (and) in your sentence.

The grammar is fine, but the meaning/logic is not. Neither technologies nor cultures take place.

I think what you mean is: "I come from Kuching, Sarawak---a place that has a unique culture." I'm not sure that any place has unique technologies.

I come from Kuching, Sarawak, a place where technology[ies] and culture[s] come together in a unique way.

to me, what mykwyner said is completely correct
