Please help

bring about, build up, deal with a problem, go under,
plough back profits, put up funds, wind up, wipe out,
write off


We had a serious problem with accounts receivable, and were forced to (1) …………… thousands of pounds of bad debts, when one of our customers went bankrupt and was
