Question a bit

"A bit" means "a little, slightly". Can it be used before nouns? Can we say "I have a bit money?"

Hi, Daisy,
Yes, it can. A bit of patience, courage, money, salt and what not.
Cheers

It can, but only with "of" in most cases, as in your example: a bit of money.

One can say "I have a bit part in the school play.

It can also be an adverb: It is a bit warm in here.
